Sagging door card covering
The Suede covering on the door cards of my Rover 75 (2005) are sagging. They do this over time when the backing disintergrates. Has anyone found a fix for this? Possible ironing the material with a medium hot iron to make the backing "tacky" or steam shrinking the fabric? Please advise.

I seem to remember that some people have replaced the original material with leather, Klarzy comes to mind.

Also bear in mind that not all door cards are the same quality, I have found some on ebay as replacement and these are excellent, the material is carpet like and of a very high quality, these are very rare now, remember Rover did not plan for the 75 to be on the road for 20+ years!. |
