you could, but the tuner is in the boot as well, so it really does make it a bit of a nightmare.

well done for the install steven, might have to put one in the wifes car

Can you not get an autoleads adaptor to fit, I'm sure when I fitted the parrot kit to the last car I had to get an adaptor cable to go between the parrat kit and the sterio.

Hi Web1l,

I wont get around to it untill monday but yes an SOT060 from autoleads will indeed couple with the BMW17 pin...

and now the best bit. You wont have to cut any wires as the speaker T cable uses a 3.5mm jack. A 5m or 2x 3m extension cables will take it to the boot to the adaptor loom.

Also by swapping 8 pins over its easy to make the sound come out the drivers side...

I shall put a how to up when I get it done..

I don't have a highline system but as the amp is located in the boot can the entire system be located there?

All this system really does is cut into the speaker line. If you spliced into the4 amp inputs you would be doing the same. The other feeds are also in the boot.

Sorry to sound a bit thick.
Should phone call play through all the car stereo speakers or just one. Or have I wired up something wrong?

Hi Paul, thanks to you yes it seems a doddle,
Steven... You could mount the system in the boot but you would need to extend the mic, remote and earpiece wires also there may be interference as the BT brain is mounted some distance away....albeit not that far but with all the bodywork and electrics in the way
...

Chunkybray... The sound only comes from the passeger front..but you can change that without affecting the channels..

Hth...

There is a yellow wire marked 'cable mute'. In the instructions this appears to be wired into the ISO plug, but on the real thing it's not connected to anything. Should this be connected?
