**Please ignore fittings, they have changed over time and we provie with the matching fitting. DVB-T We provide only one...standard with all Receivers. DAB+Aerials We have 4 available that we have had success with and suit most needs. The first is the one that comes standard with the DAB receiver We then have these OPTIONAL Aerials Mounts to Roof, which requires a hole in roof. Which mounts to Glass. Vehicle window glass mounting Antenna sticks to window with removable whip Compatible for Band 3 reception only. We have a New One Available A Custom done SHARK aerial with DAB, AM/FM and GPS I had these made for us They are on the way now (BLACK ONLY) I hope this helps Sean |

Would the cable from the roof mount Celsus be able to fit on the sharks fin in order to save re=routing cable back to head unit? Ken. |

I'll defer that to Sean as I can't remember what connection is on the roof mounted aerial (at the aerial end) having never fitted one of those. Presuming it detaches from said aerial then you should be fine, you may just need an smb to sma adaptor possibly. If the cable is fixed to the antenna then it would involve cutting and splicing which would reduce (somewhat) the signal reception

I am really not 100% either on how it cionnects inside the aerial base. Its sealed , And I concur with Jeff, cutting it will break the continuity and it would never be the same. |

Does this shark fin antenna requires a hole in the roof or is this magnetic and is there a SMB to SMA adapter included for the gps?

The car needs a repair on the roof and it seems the good time to install such antenna on my roof so they can paint this shark fin antenna The bodywork department from my BMW dealer, want to install it, but they have some questions. Does this antenna fit on the roof of a BMW E46 coupe from 2004 (facelift model)? Can you give the measurments where to place it so that the antenna fits perfectly on the roof so that tere are no gaps and wont leak water in to the car. And how does the wires run? It ist quit urgent because the car get in on next week (the car go's in at 6 june 2017) so i can give the bodywork department the info they need. What does it costs and how fast could it be in Belgium so i could take a desission! |
