A former Rover Group Rover 75 Press Car with a Superb History (S750 LJW)
The car has now returned from Corin's and in the light of the additional carried out by him on the car and the new photo's taken by myself I thought it justified a fresh thread.
As before I am looking for £1700 for the car. This price is ONLY available to members on the forum. The price on Autotrader and Pistonheads is £1900. The List below details the work carried out by Corin: Full Service New Cambelts New Water Pump New Belt Tensioners New Thermostat Replacement Inlet Manifold Replacement Drivers Side Fog Lamp and surround Replacement Drivers Door Glass Replacement Drivers and Passengers interior door handles. Details: Finished in Wedgwood Blue with a Neptune Blue Leather Personal Line interior. A Sure-fire future Classic and now possibly the best example of a Pre Launch Rover 75 Still on the Road. This car is the earliest car known Right Hand Drive Rover 75 and is one of less than 5 1998 Rover 75's still on the road. Rover Group as it was then used this car as a Press car prior to the public launch of the 75 in 1999. To my knowledge this car appeared on the front covers of at least 3 of the UK's top motoring magazines. These are as follows... What Car? Auto Car Auto Express It also appeared on Channel 4's 'Driven' in 1999. The link below is that particular episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-dlaugBQho Copies of all the Magazines and a DVD of the Television program are included in the sale. The Car is currently registered in my mothers name but prior to that it has had just 2 owners. The first being Rover themselves from 1998 - 2002 and the second being a local man from 2002 - 2010. The Full Specification of the car is as follows... 2.0 Litre KV6 Engine Automatic Gear Box 12 Months MOT 6 Months Tax 71,000 Miles 15'' Crown Alloy Wheels Neptune Blue Leather Personal Line Interior. Electric Memory Seats Heated Seats Traction Control Sunroof Message Centre IPK Full Sized Alloy Spare Wheel Boot Mounted Warning Triangle Symphony Audio System 6 Disc CD Auto Changer Climate Control Electric Mirrors Heated Mirrors Electric Windows PAS 4 Air Bags Warning the next post is very pic heavy! |

Yes a lovely and cared for lady of the road. A silly question I know, but does the A/C and gadgets all work?
thanks Phil |

They all do. The Climate control was given a work out yesterday along with the cruise and sunroof. I can report they all passed with flying colours. Everything she has works.

Thanks for letting me know.
I am quite tempted given all of the ongoing expense I continue to have with mine. The price you ask is a good deal, against the the 5K I paid back in July. Unfortunately, I am flying out from the UK tomorrow night and won't be back until Jan 15, so it is virtually impossible for me to take up your car for sale. Unless it is still around when I return. I somehow think this will be snapped up..all the best. Phil |
