Default Hi line CD changer

Guys. had a small problem yesterday & wondered if anyone has had a similiar problem or any idea why it happened.

listening to CD changer so I could have TMC on the Sat Nav, I have the standard Hi line set up except for a newer map disk, & it suddenly started playing the radio via cd mode. It allowed me to scroll through tape, cd & radio functions & it would change cds 1 -6 ok in the cd mode but it wouldn't play them but continued to pipe the radio through on cd mode as well as radio mode.

When I next got in the car it played the first song of the cd (as it was still on cd mode from the previous journey) and then cut out again. After scrolling through the options via the steering wheel I tried using the actual stereo buttons & by flipping through the mode sequence the cd came back & has been fine for the last couple of journeys.

It was only serviced, at an ex MGR dealer, last friday, & they obviously disconected the battery because the clock was out, although only by 5 minutes. Is this a coincidence? Am i being paranoid?

comments much appreciated.

Why would they have disconnected the Battery?
If you have Hi Line I hope to God they shut it down properly.
Have you checked the sat Nav still works?

I did wonder that myself.

Everything is now working fine. I was using the sat nav at the time & have used it since.

Put it down to the electrical gremlin god I think.
