Hi Line Head Unit

Just got a car with Hi Line fitted.
Just want to ask a couple of questions please.
1. when i turn ignition on sat nav screen comes on,but when i press power button on head unit it does not go off,is this working correctly.

2. boot has been damp at some stage and the radio module was wet. Bit of corrosion around connectors so i,ve took it out to dry off. does the radio module get switched on and off by the power button because all lights work on head unit apart from power light or is it because radio module is goosed and not powering up that the red power light does not come on.

2 - Yes switches on/off on that button.
Radio could well be cooked or an issue with the K-bus line.Make sure everything is dry and clean all plugs and sockets for radio,t.v,sat/nav.
