Farewell to Gateshead
Zed is now all packed and ready to head off to Freddie in Norfolk.
He's had a fairly quiet time in Gateshead, sharing in day to day family routine. When he arrived we had the gloom of redundancy hanging over our home, but Zed was able to join in the celebrations when new employment was secured. A couple of Zed's wardrobe pieces were looking a little worn when he arrived but a couple of quick repairs have sorted him out and his jumper, especially, looks good as new. Zed was also able to see the arrival of a new set of wheels - my gorgeous little wedgewood mgf :-) and he met Willow today, a rescue cat who will be coming to share our home within the next week. Zed was very helpful with carrying out the winter inspection of our caravan and whilst there enjoyed a farewell tipple. As it's turned rather cold the last few days Zed has donned several layers to keep him warm on his journey south and is looking forward to seeing Freddie. Happy travels Zed - we'll see you next year :-) |
