Default ZTT 1.8T for sale...:-( £750 ovno

Well the sad day has come to let the ZTT go after almost 10yrs of ownership. None of the cars I have are particularly practical to teach my eldest to drive on so the MG has drawn the short straw

Vehicle as per photos, 103k, MOT due 02/12/16
I have stacks of receipts and MOTs for all the work done during my ownership.

Since the last 18 months I've had:
  • New clutch courtesy of Andy W
  • Timing belt and water pump
  • Cat and flexpipe
  • 2 x rear shocks and
  • IMG replaced last week
In addition mid and rear SS exhaust, Panasonic DAB radio / CD and K&N panel filter. A new set of BRG rear parking sensors come with the car (but requires fitting). Jules fan fuse, T-piece and FOC fitted.

Bad Points:
  • Body work average for it's 12 years - it hasn't been garaged in my time and has scratches on the rear edge pax side bumper.
  • The drivers door mirror got a knock some months ago and is secured by tape. Replacement mirror comes with the car but cap is in the wrong colour (but understand the cap can be changed).
  • Patch repair on drivers seat bolster.
  • Rear arm rest hinge broken.
  • Alloys from my scrapped ZT diesel - suspect as a result there's a tyre sealing issue on both rear tyres so need to keep an eye on pressures.

Had HGF in 2009 but was fixed by MGR specialists in Bradford and the only other time it's let me down was the usual filter problem.

I think this is a realistic price and could be an ideal winter project for bit of detailing that will go a long way to bring back the BRG shine. The car runs and pulls well and probably is one of the best handling cars I've owned. I would rather it remains "in the family" before I advertise elsewhere. Feel free to ask any questions.
