Default Jessica

Hi Phil,
It was so nice to meet and talk with you and Jessica yesterday. I am shocked to read about her fall. Am so sorry to hear this. Please give her my best wishes and hope for a speedy recovery. Thank you for all your great pictures. I do hope you will be OK, it's really an awful thing to happen, and you also due for your op next week.

All the best,

Regards, Jennifer

I didn’t see much of forum yesterday, I was shocked that you told me of Jessica’s accident yesterday when we spoke to each other this morning . I can certainly see you may have to post on your operation, but as I said this morning please give Jessica so sorry to hear of her accident and we wish her a quickly get well as soon as possible. If I was driving and closer to you , I’d dry and help you as much as I could.
Speak soon and hope her operation works well for her and is moving again.

Had a wonderful chat with Jessica at the meet and it was so good to see you both in good spirits but Phil what a terrible end to your day. I do hope that Jessica is out of pain and that the operation goes without delay. Please send my best wishes to Jessica and hope for a speedy recovery with your support.

I can only repeat what others have said, and send my best wishes to Jessica for a speedy recovery. Had a nice chat with her at the meet and we discussed various health issues etc, obviously not realising what was instore - must be a complete shock for both Jessica, and Phil.

Great photos Phil, and My thoughts are with you both for a speedy recovery.

Cliff

Thank you all for your private message and good wishes.

At 08:30 this morning, Jessica was wheeled into surgery to have a left total hip replacement following a bad fall 2 days ago. On our return from the meet on Sunday, whilst unloading the car Jessica tripped backwards and fell heavily onto the hip.

She was in a lot of pain and couldn’t rotate her leg. I suspected a broken hip and instead of waiting hours for an ambulance, I got her into the car and fast tracked her into A&E, seen and X-rays within the hour.

Over the weekend the over 80’s and 90’s were bone busting and falling. So they took priority for the orthopaedic operating theatre, hence the delay in Jessica’s operation and now we will have Robo Jessica! A great result

So far the care from the doctors and nurses has been excellent, I will see her this afternoon and will certainly pass on all of your messages, thank you x

Thank you Fred and thank you to all of our friends here. Jessica is continuing to do well practicing walking and climbing stairs. She has been told by the consultant no driving for 8 weeks post op. My operation has been postponed by the hospital to 02 October.

Here are a couple of photos from yesterday, happy days 😀

That's amazing, well done Jessica, but don't rush. Fresh drop link installed, now running in!
