In the end we bought a Fiat 500s but recently looked at a 3 that was traded into work. I used the car over night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was a Time edition and was too low a spec with no central door locking or A/C so I would definitely consider a higher spec. My son and daughter have both passed their driving tests now so we don’t have the use of the cars we bought them. We’ve gone from a 5 car household rotating cars to keep battery’s charged to 3 usable cars, a classic mini, Rover coupe, and the 75 all of which are getting old so a newer car is still looking like a good idea.
