Depends on polish type, SMAT products this is true with, DAT not so much! Hand will not have anywhere near the results of machine unless you put an impossible level of hours into it

I see a video on youtube once demonstating how hard it actually is to damage paintwork with a da polisher. Dont think I want to find out though

Pop down to the scrappy and try and get a wing to practice polishing on. If you can get the same colour as your own car. That way you get to know how polishing the paint on your car works with no risk at all.

Well my das6 machine turned up today with chemical guys clay block, vss compound/polish and butter wet wax and a few fifferent pads and microfibre clothes. I bought it from http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk

Now just gotta wait for some nice weather ro spend a couple of days using it! Hopefully in time for POL
