COA for spares or repair **WITHDRAWN **
Hi.
I'm selling my old 1999 Connie SE 1.8 for spares or repairs. The car has an MoT till the end of August and is taxed till the end of September. The car runs well but has some issues to be fixed before the MoT. Namely: Backplates, OS rear sill needs some work. Front suspension knocking (drop links again possibly) Intermittant ABS fault needs to be found again likely to be reluctor related as sensors OK. Front discs and pads. Other faults present are: Clutch judder after a run. Aircon compressor U/S. Good points. Everything works with the exception of the air conditioning. Body good, just some small scuffs on the bumpers. Excellent tyres, one just a week old. Rear brakes gutted. Poly bushed on suspension arms and lower engine mounts. Tazu master. serviced every 6 months. Lots of history. Waxoyled throughout, only OS rear sill has a problem. Under tray present. Tidy interior. Yours for £350

Hi.
Well after talking with the wife, we have decided to get the car fixed for the MOT and this will give me a little breathing space to search for a reasonably priced decent tourer. I would have preferred not to have spent any more of my hard earned cash on the old car and got a tourer but its now "needs must". Ill do the brakes and ABS fault myself, if I find its a drop link that is duff, I'll also DIY it too, with regard to the rear of the O/S Sill I'll get it done professionally. My MOT man will pass it on the back plates and note it as an advisory. I may try and source them from a good friend on here though. So in the meantime I'm withdrawing the car from sale, It could though be for sale again but fixed, with a long MOT but the price will reflect the work done!

No point in sitting around with your feet up when the car needs fixing
Sounds like a good plan. Im sure a tourer will come along that will catch you eye either in the for sale section, gumtree or ebay.
