My clutch is fine thanks Mike. I cannot prove that debris from the master can damage the slave if the system is bled top down, but it seems good practice to me to reduce the risk of debris from the master getting into the slave, where it COULD damage the slave seal. There have been reports of slaves failing after the system has been bled through from the master when the master has not been replaced, so I would always feel happier when fitting a new slave (or bleeding through the system in general) to have nice clean fluid coming down from the MC into the slave.

Cheers

Pete
