Default What could I use an extra dash panel hole for?!

Hi folks

Recently retro-fitted cruise to my 75, and the forum member who sold me the parts was kind enough to send a walnut panel ready for mounting the switch in

This is a four hole panel, and as I have heated seats and now cruise, it's leaving one hole un-utilised. Again, said forum member saved me the embarrassment of an empty hole by leaving an electric rear blind switch in it, but as I have a Tourer, a blind is not an option

Now, I could of course find a 3-hole panel, but I kind of like having the CC switch to the right of centre, so am wondering - is there any other option I am missing that I could have and lob a switch in for?!

Any advice appreciated!

Traction Control switch would light up nicely with the sidelights but would not show anything on the IPK.

Also a Trafficmaster sat nav button would fit but you may not have the correct plug behind the dash.

I have a spare Traction control button you could have foc.

Cheers Dave, but I think if I had another button which didn't do anything but which could do something then that would probably lead me back on to the path of mods I couldn't afford!

As far as I know there are only 5 different switches for the switch panel.

You have switces to fill three of them 2 heated seat switches plus 1 cruise control switch.

That leaves, traction control, rear sunblind, and trafficmaster sat nav.

The door lock/unlock and the hazard switch will fit but you will need to

extend the wiring, but then what can you fill the space on the door lock

panel with ?

How about using it to control a Phased Plasma Cannon. That would be handy for vaporising slow moving caravans that clutter up the roads!
