Default T4 and Rover 75 1.8 Mems

Hello dear members of the club.
Asking for your help.
Today I decided to diagnose the engine Rover 75 1.8 Mems. The car of my friend.
T4 has successfully connected with the car. But in the diagnostic menu engine does not enter. It shows the message: SRS ECU Failed. KW2000 Failed.Check diagnostic cable.
This car has a problem with the SRS system.
Menu immobilizer has access. In other menus include not tried.
Restart T4 does not help. Connected to this car scanner Launch or Toaf, engine control unit, these scanners are concatenated and perform the diagnostics successfully.
With my car R75 Siemens T4 works without any problems.
Tried to diagnose the engine for another Rover 75 1.8 Mems. The same thing happens.
Question. Why T4 is not connected to the engine control unit Rover 75 1.8 Mems?
Phil-T4! marinabrian! Really need your help as specialists in this field.
Any help I will be glad.
With Respect
Denis

Please share the T4 program to work with the Rover 75 1.8

Sounds like noise on the K Bus, perhaps caused by the defective SRS DCU?

If the car has highline navigation or aftermarket radio disconnect it, similarly if a driver's side memory seat is fitted, that also.

It is difficult to pin down faults on the K Bus, however with methodical checking you should find the culprit.

As the issue with the car is related to the SRS system, perhaps you'd like to pull the fuse that supplies it to see if communication can be initiated to the MEMS system

Best of luck

Brian

Thanks for the reply.
Why Launch X431 Pro the scanner without problems is connected with all systems of this car?
This car has no seats with memory and regular navigation. Radio system not established. IPK without on-Board computer.
My car as a faulty SRS system (control unit SRS), T4 works without problems.
On another Rover 75 1.8 it is fully functional T4 also does not enter the diagnostic menu engine.

Hi Brian.
On the Rover 75 my friend's faulty SRS system. Noise may be generated due to SRS.
I have another friend and he drives a Rover 75 1.8
Asked a friend to come to me to check T4 on his car.
In his car all the systems are working correctly. T4 with his car behaves the same. Does not enter the diagnostic menu engine. There may be a problem in the T4?

Are all the ECU's matching? I recently came across a vehicle where the owner (unbeknown to me) had changed the SRS, DDE4, IPK & EWS ECU's. T4 was unable to proceed without reading the SRS, well it could but with limited functionality.
I had to use Phils Toolbox" to reconfigure and change VIN in the IPK/LSM. Was then able to rewrite ZCS codes and configure to vehicle, all matching ECU's.

Hello Lovel.
It is possible in this case. Came across this on one car Rover 75 2.5 V6. He has control units were installed from other vehicles Rover 75.
T4 didn't want to connect with this car.
On a Rover 75 1.8 which all systems were in order as to explain the behavior of T4. The owner of the car says change only the SRS control unit and programmed it for the car using T4. It was a long time ago. The remaining components are all from this car. But will need to check it again.
What is Phils Toolbox? Where can I buy it? From your words it is very useful thing.
