rover 75 seats

hi could anyone please tell me if you can wire pre 04 seats into a 54 rover 75.
i have just bought. The prev owner put old seats into the car but not wired up the pretension or seatbag wires. the old seat has different plugs. if so how please im going nuts after buying the car i have allready spent £500 thanks john ps they allso blocked the seatbag warning light sorry forgot to say the conecters are thin on the loom and large on the seat

AFAIK they should all be the same fittings and plugs...?

Hi there!

I did fit pre-04 seats into my 04 ztt. I sold my bucket alcantara seats and swapped with leather pre-04 seats. They used different connectors. Howeve, you can just follow the color of the wires to wire it up to the new one. I recommend labelled ng the wires before you cut them up. You can either tranfer the old connectors to the new seats or solder them up and use ?heatwrap. it will trigger the seat belt light if you dont connect the wires properly. Also dont forget to hook the pretension wire underneath the seats.
