Thats why its such a good place to meet....wickes store for the pollyfilla...halfords for the right paint and polish....and a pub for a pint when done....!

Great night, and really enjoyed meeting everyone, and great pics Bob although now i wished I had washed it before I came down. Maybe we can have the next one near a hand car wash...... or we go into the pub first so no one can see how dirty it is...

Oh well....had the expected verdict today from the insurance...yep!!....they wrote it off.....but....as it was obviously well looked after and maintained (!) :their words.....they have offered me a very good valuation....hence l have agreed to buy it back and repair it myself (with alot of help ) and put it back on the road.....so if anyone has, or knows of , a front inner wheel arch mud guard , let me know , have sourced everything else....l think....hope....

Sourced all parts now..thanks for all advice...start work as soon as parts arrive....also bought a connie se diesel firefrost red tourer O5 plate from fellow member darkbluediesel....who looked after her very well indeed.....lovely car to drive and anothor one to spoil....!!
