Default 75 Handbrake shoe replacement

Ok, my 2001 75 seems to be due new handbrake shoes. The handbrake barely holds the car on steep Plymouth hills (there's no more adjustment left in the handbrake), and my friendly mechanic had a quick peek and reckoned they were looking a bit past their best.

So, if I buy new shoes (for my mechanic to fit) should I be buying anything else? I see Rimmers list a shoe hold down kit, an adjuster and an expander (whatever that is). Is it advisable to replace these? Any other bits it's worth doing while the back end is under the wrench?
