Default SD card compatability

Which SD cards are compatible with Radioguy's DD unit?

They seem to be in different classes and some are not backwards compatible.

I would go with a minimum of Class 4 but best is Class 6, I prefer a 2 gig just for the Satnav software, although I am using 1 2gig and 1 4gig, as a backup..

Isn't Primo too big for a 2Gb?

I have a Class 10 I bought a while back, as yet unused. Can a card be too fast for the DD?

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

If you get rid of the maps and POI's etc you don't actually need than, it's well under 2gigs !...
And since I prefer Igo that's not even an issue !

Not sure if it can be too fast, but I would suspect so...try your class 10 and see !

So, Classes 4 and 6 are compatible, but has anyone tested a 16GB class 10??

That's the question really, can the unit handle the latest class 10 cards?

Mine is a 16Gb Class 10. Maybe as Mark suggested - try it.
