Isn't the quality of service provided by any company, only as good as each individual customer thinks it is?
My Naval 2 never worked properly after it's first update, but in the end, Sean agreed to replace it with a Naval 3. OK, there were a few bumps along the way, but in the end, I got what I expected, so to that end, the service provided was good.
However:
Whilst the car it is installed in is only used very infrequently, and as a result, I have no need for a computer in the car, but I do need a sat nav, the Naval 3 generally appears to works well, except that the all important Sat nav app. Is pretty much useless. It does provide a route, but it tells you to make a turning AFTER you have passed the junction, or just as you enter a roundabout in the left hand lane, that you should take the third exit. Several peeps on this forum have offered suggestions as to how I could resolve this problem. Unfortunately none have worked, but more significantly none have been offered from those that claim to provide a good back up service. So I'm sorry but I'm afraid for me, the jury is still out.

The only thing that does not work is my navall DAB app, even the software of the developer won't work after i updated the software, i have to look in to that problem.

The last mcu and software update for the factory's own double din radio's is from 24/06/2016.

That's for radio's produced from 01/05/2015.
Now this I find interesting. I wonder how far you'd get installing the generic firmware onto a Navall?

Works just fine, but I wouldn't advise it - it's less stable than Sean's latest firmware from last year - I very rarely get reboots running the Navall branded firmware, but I would get a reboot every 10-15 minutes running the generic.

If you have a look on XDA-developers forum for the Ownice C200 (generic of what is the Navall 3) you'll find Sean being rather helpful and providing his firmware to the C200 owners.

Does have a prettier bootsplash though

I'm back running Navall firmware now.

Do you have the internal or external DAB unit. I am wondering whether this rebooting problem might be a USB problem. So when you launch the DAB app it launches USB and there might be the problem.

I will se if mine does a soft reboot on the drive home this afternoon and if it does then I might just disconnect the DAB from the USB and see if that cures it.

The internal and external Dab on the Navall 3 are one and the same guys.
It could be worth trying a new usb lead just in case and maybe re installing the app which is available free on the Google Play Store.
