Yeah, not good! From what the owner said; it's not a family member held in high regard, but they let him work there as he is family!

I don't think they'll let it go further due to the embarrassment already cause and what could be caused; but they've told him that his 'pals' will be charged and he'll get the same if this ever happens again

Obviously he wont be working there any longer and will be booted out from living in one of their properties etc...

Sad really; but what do you do?!

Just out of curiosity on storing a car, could I be rude and ask how much the average store charge per month ?
Ken.
Well I'm paying (or was paying) mates rates as I train regularly with the owners son and have coached him through a few weightlifting comps

But from memory, it's around £70 a month for their full dry-storage units or £35 a month for one of their securely locked dry barns. For most folk, the barn solution is more than enough and they'll keep the car covered for you too with decent universal covers

They're full though currently and in the process of building another 2 units!

Thanks Joe, that seems a lot of money to me but, I`m well out of touch.
Last time I stored my caravan in a field it was £8 a month lol.

Aye, that's a field though! This is secure genuine dry-storage. They have extractor fans running and a proper humidity/anti-fungal system running, which means older cars/convertibles/expensive cars are kept in pristine condition... And then big, loud, brash motors like my M5 can bring the area down haha

£35 a month for standard, insured locked car storage is about right currently!

I've been looking on and off for a while now, that's bang in the middle of what I've been quoted.
