Smile 2005 Rover 75 1.8 120 Connie SE saloon, Tempest Grey, Manual, 128k

Hi, I'm selling my rover 75 1.8 as I have given in and bought a 55 plate diesel rover 75 classic SE. I know these aren't worth a great deal but I would like it gone as I need my garage space back. It's a 1.8na Connoisseur SE with 128,200 on the clock, pretty decent service history with it, and a stupid amount of work done in the last 12 months. Connoisseur SE spec has:

Heated electric seats with memory function
Front Fog Lights
CD changer (which doesn't work)
Parking sensors
Climate control
16 inch fork alloys

Over the past 12 months either myself or kayleigh allkins team have done a lot of work to the car.

- Reconditioned head fitted in September (due to faulty thermostat)
- Timing belt / Water pump done at 122k
- Camshaft seals have been changed
- Rocker cover gasket has been changed
- Serviced last at 122k
- New coil packs and HT leads
- New thermostat
- New thermostat housing at back of engine
- Engine to heater hose has been replaced
- Coolant elbow gasket changed
- VVC Alloy manifold fitted in April 2015
- Gold cooling fan resistor fitted
- Fuel filter has a self tapping screw holding it together
- Shannon tube replaced
- Driver's side headlight replaced due to damage
- Handbrake compensator changed for modified one
- New back box and flexi pipe
- Pretty much all the tyres are in "new" condition
- Rear light seals have been replaced
- Chrome door finishers fitted recently - VERY RARE PARTS
- PPD dual tone horn fitted to the car
- New throttle cable fitted (old one was on the verge of snapping)

Prior to my ownership the car had a new clutch slave and master cylinder in 2015, and a reconditioned gearbox fitted at the same time. The car has been well and truly cherished. Underneath the car is solid, the upper arms have been painted and show no signs of rot. The sills are also solid. MOT is valid until June 2017, only advisories are two rubber bushes. Vehicle is currently on a SORN in my garage, not insured or taxed for the time being. There are a few bad points I'll be completely honest with you guys. They're as follows:

- The top mount bearings need changing, it has a clunk when turning the wheel. I can provide the parts, garage will charge around £80 in labour.
- The front end has a fair few stonechips due to lots of motorway driving, generally wear and tear for an 11 year old car with 128k on it.
- The driver's side rear quarter panel and bumper has been resprayed with a can but probably needs a machine polish to bring it back to normal.
- Headlights could do with a refurb, they're not terrible after a polish but they're not as great as I'd like them to be.
- Alloys could do with a refurb as they're a bit flaky and kerbed.
- The car has a cassette player which works perfectly and the radio works, but the CD changer does not work.
- The car's idle isn't the best, it hunts when stationary. Could be down to the idle control valve or just needing the throttle body cleaning out.

I'm looking for around £650 for the car (I'll consider reasonable offers) as it needs a little bit more love to make it perfect, but it's also had an absolute fortune spent on it in the last 12 months. There's a few pictures below, message me for more info / pictures.

This car is just sitting in my garage doing nothing for the time being. Fed up of fake replies on other sites, probably going to put it on ebay next week.

Happy to accept offers in the region of £550 for it, just want it to go to a good home.
