Default First Clean.....

After owning my ZT for 2 weeks now thought i would give it a clean.

It wasn't too bad i thought;

[

But up close it was pretty grimy, so i washed it, tar and bug removed it, then clay bared it and the paint for a 9 year old car came up quite good, so finished with Autoglym Polish then wax seal.

Although light was dimming it came up

Default First Clean

I have to say your ZT looks stunning, love the colour as well. Is it Trophy Blue ? As for the wheels, if it was me i would be tempted to keep the Apex's as in my opinion they are the best looking wheel for the ZT, have seen them on a 75 as well, and they look just as good on them. Beautiful car.

Thanks guys for all the comments, yes trophy blue.

I going to get some new tyres and keep the alloys i think, i was tempted to change to some straights but i think these make the car stand out a little.

On a cleaning note, i will be trying some other polish next time, the Autoglym Super Resin is good, but the chalky power it leaves is a nightmare!

Has anyone used one of these before?

seems good value for the price +VAT

i'm a big fan of autoglym..for me it's the super resin polish followed by the extra gloss protection,even gives a silver car extra dimension.
