Symphony radio Service Mode
When I retro-fitted a Symphony I was unable to get the speed dependent volume working.
I tried connecting the K Bus to pin 19 on the blue mini ISO, but no luck.. So, if you can remember how you did it.. It's too late for me, I have moved on to Hi Line sat nav. Dave T |

If I get chance I'll take mine out and see what's plugged into where.

Symphony Automatic Volume Control
Quote:
What exactly is annoying you about it? Is the volume increase too much or too little and at what road speeds? Let me know and I'll consult the speed vs. audio output table for GAL 1 - 4. Simon. |

Well I would like to get into service mode on my Symphony.
I switched the unit on and held down Man for more than 8 seconds, but all that displays on the screen is OCEAN FM P1 FM1 97.5 MHz |

That is correct cj - The radio when in service mode automatically tunes into the last tuned-in FM station. I think if you use the left/right selectors you can cycle through the options in service mode. If it's not the left/right selectors then it's another button or dial. It's been a while since I've done it myself but what you are seeing is entirely normal.

I'll give that a try when I rip out the stereo unit and install the SLE chip. I've managed to put it onto the highest setting, so it's not as bad as it was. It's more noticable on the CD than the radio though....
