Question Becker Head Unit

Hi All, I am contemplating fitting a becker head unit to my MG ZT 03 plate, as a friend has recommended the quality to me, (they are fitted to Porche, Ferrari and Astons) and can be found relatively cheaply on e-bay).

Can I still utilise my SWRC with these Head units? Is there an adapted cable available?

The HU fitted is KEnwood, I don't know the model as it has no face plate, car bought as a salvage repairable!!

Your Thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks SMC, I will have to remove my head unit to confirm the part number, but mine is a cassette Head unit, which I find asstounding that they were fitted to cars in 2003!

I am looking to go CD with aux input for MP3 player, whilst retaining my SWRC, all for less than the price of the face plate you have!!!!!

BTW have you received my paypal for a set of Locking wheel nuts?

Brgds

If yours has a cassette then this faceplate is not the right one, yes, Paypal received and they will be posted in the morning.

Thanks for the business and good luck with the radio

I once looked into the Becker HU:s as I thought they would look nice in the 75. In order for the SWRC to work you will need an interface and the once I found at the time was Dietz AD9-9102.

Personally I had retrofitted a cassette HU to my 75 (gonna put the CD413 back in because I'm probably not keeping the car) because I have a large collection of tapes that are perfectly satisfactory. I also however fitted a cd changer.
