do i need a f.b.h.
I have a rover 75 2001 cdt it has electrical problems The indicators and main beam lights on the dashboard don’t work Also the heater matrix fan and heated rear window does not work But if I unplug the f.b.h. plug everything works fine is it alright to run the car all the time with this unplugged

Sounds like the K-bus to the FBH is playing up. It's the red / white yellow wire in pin 2 of the 6 way plug.
If you unlatch the connector you can remove the offending wire and tape it up safely. FBH is nice when it gets cold, as the diesel engine takes an age to warm up.

thanks for the help i had to cut the red white and yellow wire as it wouldn't come out but the car is ok now and it has also fixed the alarm and central locking as well all for the sake of one little wire
