Rear number plate lights
The offside rear number plate light is not working on my newly acquired 75, the near side light is working.
Checked the offside bulb, and although the filament was intact, I put a put a new bulb in, but the light was still not working. After much reading of various threads on this subject in this forum, am I right in concluding that the likely cause is a defective PCB in the light assembly/plinth? From the following thread, the PCB is underneath some very sticky foam/mastic which must be removed in order to affect a repair, and then a replacement for foam/mastic must be sourced and applied to provide a waterproof seal for PCB. Would it be quicker to just purchase and fit a new light assembly, which costs £52? https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...11&postcount=4 |

You can just use silicone to reseal it, or hard wire the bulb holder bypassing the pcb. That's what I did when I fitted leds 😎
Just to add, make sure the copper bulb holders are clean . Sent from my SM-A145R using Tapatalk |

Exactly What I did with mine Ron. Did it many years ago and never had any problems since.

This issue with the number plate lights was highlighted at launch but never fixed!
