The seller wasn't forthcoming about the damage, but I have learnt to ask whether there is any damage on the car. No doubt why the nearside of the car, isn't shown in the advert. It still wouldn't put me off, so I'm still planning to view the car one night this week.

Has anyone been to see the car yet?

As he was out all Sunday, I haven't had chance yet. Will try and sort something tomorrow, but I have to go to Bury St Edmonds tomorrow, so will see how I get on. Will try and do it on the way back.

If the sellers took a deposit on the car is it really worth trying to go see it?

Well I had to go to Bury St Edmonds on business today, so called in at Chatteris on the way home. Have to say that if the car was as described, I think it would be worth the money, as it seems a nice genuine old car, however, the headlights were as bad as I'd seen on a facelift car, with them needing a really good cut back and polishing, all four alloys need repainting and the rear bumper and drivers side rear wing, need painting, due to accident damage and the roof has a soft dent in it from a cat jumping on it. Apparently, the buyer is coming over on Saturday, if it doesn't sell, I would be interested, but not at the asking price.

Well the seller emailed me earlier, to let me know that the buyer did turn up today and paid the asking price. Anyone on here bought it?
