Did anyone ever see the Twinie Mini ?
Was in the Sun Newspaper around 47/49 or so years ago.
I saw it in the Manchester printers of the Sun newspaper.

Built by John Cooper, had two 1275 engines, one where back seats should be. He crashed it on the Surbiton bypass whilst out testing it, nearly killed himself!

While I'm boring you all with Minis, I have a model of one of the Twini Minis

And this pic was taken back in 1989 at the Mini 30 Party at Silverstone. The guy drove this from the Netherlands. I wonder if it's still around.

These Metros were death traps in normal size, let alone half the size again!

Failed the euro ncap rating horrifically. One star for adult occupants and 2 stars for pedestrians.
