Default Coldplay

Coldplay at Glastonbury....

Awesome performance. Right tone, professional as always. Who would have predicted the guest appearance of Barry Gibb and Stayin' Alive the great cover version with video of the band who lost their lives in that car accident.

Love live music ...from musicians. Even better when you get good musicians who know how to work an audience...

Better performance than most of the Euro games have been that's for sure.

I really enjoyed that.

Totally agree, great performance and a great tribute to Viola Beach

Also thought Muse on Friday were awesome. I might get slated for this but, I thought Adele was rubbish last night

I agree, she sounds like an old fish wife when she talks. Too much chatter, too much swearing and too much audience signing instead of her! A mate there says she was great though,

Coldplay were brilliant as they always are. Been a fan for years. Where Chris Martin gets his energy from beats me , very professional

I agree Paul, never liked her. I've never heard such a depressing album...

Agree with the comments RE: fishwife too!

One of my mates said he's never seen Coldplay live but he'll be making a point of doing so based on the Glastonbury performance!

You've got a point; when I first heard them on BBC Radio 1 Jo Whiley Live Lounge playing Yellow, I thought wow! That's brilliant! Compare that to their song "I will fix you", and he really struggles to hold the notes...

Default Bottom line

Bottom line is he a rock star most of whom are not the greatest singers but he can'r half hold an audience. Somehow his songs which in my opinion are very good just wouldn't have the same feeling being played by someone else.
And....

He really cares about things and the whole band donate 10% of all earnings to charity and have done for years. Read up on them. Quite a story.

So can we forgive the odd duff note...

One thing for sure his audience love them. Bouncing, singing all the songs and appreciative of the tributes he made. Nothing stranger than Coldplay singing Stayin' Alive but it worked big style.
