Hi Nige.
Great video, clear and very well done. Personally I think these older Cowley cars are the best. Other than the minor flaws you have pointed out the car seems top notch. I just wish I could afford it right now. Sadly unless I sell my 75 that is every bit a clean as yours I don't have the cash. I'm due a new knee in May so an auto would be great but I'm on SSP till I recover so cash will be tight. So if anyone fancies COA for a good price id take yours. COA has been 100% for months and all its issues are fixed.

Maybe that's why my Cowley car is still my avatar. |

That's strange because I seem to remember reading somewhere that Longbridge cars were better built. I know it does depend a lot on where and how a car is kept but this Cowley saloon is cleaner underneath than my 04 tourer. By cleaner I mean there is still far more original paint left on underbody parts. I had my tyre guy stick it on the lift for me and I was amazed at just how clean it was underneath. Bit of surface rust around the hoop on the spare well, very little else.

I know what you mean about the auto. I have always preferred them and was really glad to get my tourer as it makes a huge difference to the old bod'. You got plenty of off-road parking space Trevor ? Nige |

Hi Nige.
I'm not bad for room. I can easily have the ZT, 75, the doblo and have my daughters VW Beetle all behind my gates. The Beetle though only visits about once a month

That's definitely the way to advertise a car, the videos are just great. Well done and I hope you get a member to buy it, it looks great.

Hi.
I've sent Nige a PM regarding the car. If all goes well COA will be advertised soon. Watch this space!

Thanks to all that have shown interest.
My apologies to stockport 75 Peter you were not usurped over the car. I had exchanged PMs with Trevor earlier and was awaiting a reply from him before I answered your last PM. Now I kind of wish I had two. I will of course update this thread accordingly when there is a definitive result to post. Nige |
