Well I suppose all good things come too an end, today is our last day in Madeira lots of trips out, good food and alcohol at the hotel all inclusive, really lucky with the weather no rain and averaged between 21 and 23 degrees, got a nice olive tan.

Got new yeast and made another batch of pansesal, doesn't taste right, reckon the flour is past it. Ging, for some reason best known to her, got huge bags of flour a couple of years ago. Need to get some fresh flour and try again, need bread flour which you can't get everywhere, will have to organise an expedition up to Tesco.

It's cold out there again tonight & the central heatings on full blast. I made a steak & onion dish pie with a suet pastry top for tea tonight with some marrowfat peas. Forgot to take a pic before it was demolished.
