Oh dear that's really bad news about QH, especially as we now know they make the OEM pumps.
I always feel that you can't go wrong with QH parts, which not something you can say about some other aftermarket parts manufacturers e.g. Intermotor. Ivan: Get a QH pump before the stocks run out! |

I'd stick with a genuine pump. In my opinion, it's not worth saving £10-20 on a job as labour intensive as this.
Can recommend this seller. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-GENUIN...item20cf486622 |

What I did mark the cambelts position on all then pullies, then tye wraped the cam belt to the cam pullies, then i got a mini ratchet strap on the top spokes on both the cam pullies and pulled some slack to the water pump area. Then I dropped the tensioner off, and took up the rest of the slack on the strap. Easy job to remove the old pump then and after a quick clean up of the seal face and a smear of helimar blue fit the new one The only minor issue I had was compressing the tensioner … but a vice sorted that lol All ready for the reassemble tomorrow
