Good to hear this Mark. Wishing you both a speedy recovery from this. The signs seem good.

Note to all: if you haven't got LPAs (health and finance) in place for you and your loved ones, do it now.

Update from Mark, who has asked if this can be copied to here....

This time last week, Bev was conscience, but incommunicable, now she is eating and drinking normally, is allowed to go to the toilet and shower herself as well!

The Doctors have finally found out what caused the stroke though, so it's good news and bad news!

Apparently, she has an irregular heartbeat, which is causing her to have low blood pressure, which caused the stroke.

She will end up on blood thinning drugs, which should raise her blood pressure, which should help prevent a recurrence of the problem.

With a bit of luck, she should be coming home this week, but what happens after that I'm not sure, but should know more this week.

Once again, I'd like to thank everyone for the kind words and good wishes, they have really helped me through a very difficult time.

If someone could copy and paste this to the thread on the OC, it would be appreciated.
