mg zt 190 mpg?
I am in the process of deciding between an MG ZT-T diesel or petrol.
To help my decision I would like some real world MPG for the 190, does it average 30 on a mixed run or would 25 be more accurate? I don't drive like like a test pilot and your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, any advice from ZT-T 190 owners out there? Anything I should be aware of before buying? Thank You |

You had me confused for a minute there - I read the title of the thread as
MG ZT, (pause) 190mpg? Must read this I thought!! Still can't help, mine's a frugal diesel saloon |

25 to a gallon is more realistic. If I get 300 miles to a tank, I'm happy!
The ZT190 is pretty sound. The only real weakspot is the inlet manifold. If you search the forums for "VIS" you'll find a fair bit of reading material! |

Really depends on your annual mileage too.
If you do more than 6k a year you will earn massive savings opting for the diesel variant. (much as I love the V6's)!

I typically average 27-28mpg, occasionally more on a longer run, and less around town.
I'm disappointed if I don't get c350 - 370 miles from a tank, but still don't consider myself a dawdler. I do find first/second gears too short, so tend to use third from fairly low speeds, so that probably helps. |
