16" union wheels modding
has anyone ever modified the union wheels maybe by removing the thin spokes or maybe painting them black etc

The idea of cutting bits out of wheels, does not sound a good idea to me. However thin the bits are, surely they all add to the tested strength of the wheel, takes bits away, surely you will be weakening them.
Painting though is not a problem. |

i thought that aswell hense why i wanted to know if it had been done but i was thinking if i changed spokes to black and maybe changed colour of rims then it would change the style of the alloys maybe shadow grey or something like that, any ideas??

if you painted the thin ones matt black, they would be harder to see ! So it would look like 5 spokes LOL

may look odd with 16" on a Zt. but dunno as I can never picture things. thats why I have spent a small fortune on my car...changing it, not liking it and changing it to something else LOL must stop.

i did same with astra then it got to unreliable then i said i was gonna leave 75 standard just sort out niggles but now there nearly done i cant resist the urge just strugling to find cheep spoiler lol (ones on the bay still atached to boot lid)

I have the facelift lip spoiler for sale, brand new but not genuine rover/mg. Un painted.

ive seen car with lip spoiler and boot spoiler i think it looked sweet, does it just bond ontop boot lid and how much you looking for

i too was determined to leave my 75 club standard but after 3 years the urge to modify it got the better of me lol not to everyones taste i know but i like it (the wife was not happy when she came in from work to find me spraying the wheels in the kitchen)
