Rimmers doesnt have any, no longer available apparently. 6 quid shipping flat rate for one seller. Ebay has 2 4.50 pnp free...lol I'll get one and now I have the chance to use my draper hand saw... Hwsbo will have to eat her words, when will I ever use it? There's always a first time it all depends on if I'm within slap range. ;-p

Item 7 is the bolt in question, the shank of the bolt forms an elongated "diamond" which prevents the rotation of the bolt as it comes up hard against one of the flats on the pinion.

Think of the pinion joint as looking like an elongated "D", the bolt "diamond" is nearest the upright of the "D" and the universal joint curves around the rest.

The part number of the bolt is QLF100000 and is a whole £1.28

So you could order one, then cut the old one off if required

OK looking at what Ive just bought on ebay maybe my captive bolt isnt captive. It certainly looks the part but I cant remember seeing edges like that. Either way once its here Im off with the draper saw and just need to remember the new nut, lost the replacement I had; think it flew around 100m towards the river not sure I was in a bit of a mood at the time.
