02 sensor
Hi guys, my tester always reads the value of the "Hinten O2 sensor" (which means back or rear 02 sensor translated from german) at 0.4V and the other two 02 sensor fluctuate normally between 0.1 and 0.9 values, so i assume that this non fluctuating sensor is not working anymore right? If that would be the case, what would be the results of this malfunctioning? And where exactly is this sensor positioned so I can replace it? Thanks.

i take it it's a v6 ?
i would think if both front sensors are reading 0.1 and 0.9volts they are working ok. if the rear sensor is reading 0.4 volts all the time it sounds to me like the cat is faulty. i may be wrong but didn't some v6's have 2 sensors and some 3? Last edited by Billyuk1; 29th March 2017 at 22:11.. |

The downstream or post cat sensor should not oscillate, it should be flat line if working correctly.
If it does fluctuate in line with the upstream sensors your cat is possibly done. 0.4v constant or so is fine. Taking into account the current used. |

Yup I got a V6 and the value of the sensor does not fluctuate. And what do you mean by cat guys? (I'm not english and don't know this particular terms). And also, where is this sensor positioned? Thank you.
