Still getting on with the current distraction - mgzr 160 engine rebuild. Managed to get the liner heights to around 4 though in all planes with some imaginative shimming of the block while machining the face. A little lapping in should get them all spot on.

MM... we, most certainly I, would really appreciate some more illustrations of your various workings on the motors.

A picture and a thousand words and all that.

No real need to pay unless you want to use other benefits.

What you can do is sign up for one of the many FREE image hosting sites such as TinyPic...other hosting sites are available but I findTinyPic convenient.

When you've signed up, you can load images and then copy-paste various types of available methods to put up images on car sites like this or direct links in emails etc and other choices. Here's their sign up site :~

http://tinypic.com/join.php

Just follow the guidelines and complete the required details. Then you can post pictures here and just about anywhere else on-line.

I use a Compact Digital Camera for my pictures. Very simple process with Compact Digital Camera. My ancient mobile phone does not have an image facility like most modern mobile phones now do.

I shall upgrade my mobile and then need to learn "how to" load images from that onto the hosting site. If you only have a mobile phone image facility available, someone here better placed than me to explain may come along for you.

Meantime I've just used my Digital Compact to upload "Tinypic ~ Join us today" page from my LapTop. :~
