Surprised he didn't get a public order issued with the way he was behaving. Aggressive, refusing to answer the policewoman, refusing to accept the paperwork. And that's after he committed an act of vandalism. Whether he agrees with it or not, he doesn't have the right to refuse to accept the charges he has been given, and I'm surprised she et him get away with that.
Utter, utter pillock. Shame there wasn't a partner with that policewoman to arrest the total ******

Yep the bloke was a pratt and behaved badly however I don't think the police do themselves any favors when they make big issues out of trivialities like that. A quiet work with the Dad would probably have been more effective then actually issuing a ticket.
With regards to the filming he did nothing wrong, in this country we have the freedom to film anything on public land.

How do you know the officer didn't attempt to have a 'quiet word' with the father before issuing the ticket?

The account posted on YouTube is, at best, an incomplete one.

Issuing a ticket for a 5 and 10 year old girl picking flowers for their estranged mother on Mothers day? REALLY??? Glad to see that the Police can spare the manpower for this as they obviously have sorted all the burglaries and serious crime in their area...

The father sets an excellent example to his children - steal, don't accept responsibility for your actions and harass people in authority when challenged.

He has an interesting view of a what is reasonable on "public land"

Excellent.
