Scrappy-Xenon, not so cheap.Getting

Getting bits for the 45 yesterday, I saw a tourer with Xenon's and a FBH. Went back today and somebody had already been there for bits, including the ballasts for the xenon's.

Anyway, got the Mk1 Xenon's, the washers, pipes, pump and the front sensor for £35.

Now to replace the ballasts, not as cheap as I thought.

Do the actual ballasts have a cover over them, or is the aluminium exposed?

I saw they were missing when I arrived there.

Are there any covers over them (ballasts)as well though?

May just replace the globes while they are out as well. £££££

They were off a 52 plate and I believe they degrade anyway, probably buy a new pair anyway.
