Default What's the difference

Between the 2 listed crank pulley bolts on rimmers apart from about £10 ??

One will be rover & the other Land Rover. Same part number apart from a L on the end.

No there are the 2 rover bolts as well as the Land Rover one.Surely they will both do the job required won't they.

They are different lengths.

The cheaper one did not match a 2005 car, so I ended up buying one of each.

I think about cm difference in length if I recall - and I am not taking it apart to check that I'm afraid!

If you need the short one I can try and find it. What I am not sure of is why and when they changed.

Well Mike mines a 2001 tourer so I'm assuming the shorter one is the correct one for mine

I'll see if I can find it then.

Found it, and the special washer that goes beneath it.

If you can cover the postage (or a pint) its yours. Postage is about £3.50 I think.

PM me your address if you want it.

and replied, Also on Rimmers site the longer bolt is listed as being used from June 2001.

Mine was registered 1st September 2001 but I will chance my arm on the shorter bolt being used then.
