Default Old F1 memorabilia

I'm undecided whether to, or even how to go about selling a front nose section off a '78 Alfa Romeo BT46 that my Dad got years ago!
His thing when he was younger was going all over Europe watching the F1.
And after talking to someone in the Parmalat Brabham team about getting a reminder of where he'd been, came back with this nose section (only the centre part, about 1ft square)

I just don't know what to do with it, whether to keep it, flog it or just put it away, never to be seen again

Stick it on to eBay if you do want rid, maybe put a couple of hundred as a reserve, starting at 99p. Then you can decide to let it go if you are happy with what it does raise.

It is the Brabham with an Alfa engine, by the way and if I recall the 46B was the short lived fan car.

Gordon Murray designed

Niki Lauda (and I think John Watson, maybe even Nelson Piquet) driven.

Brabham was owned by Bernie Eccelstone at that time

and one of the most controversial and well known cars of the 70's.

There's a lot of names behind it, and press, so it could generate a bit interest. I think because of the names, it would be more interesting than say a Copersucar, from a similar era. But how much it is worth to you, would likely be more than what is worth to enthusiasts, I cannot imagine that there are a lot of sections of nosecones.

If it was me, I would be looking to frame it somehow. Or mount it below a glass coffee table etc.

Cool

Try a car museum, they might be interested. Donnington for example at their F1 collection.
