Klarius exhaust
Hi,
How many have you fitted a klarius exhaust from euro car parts? Fitted one to my v6 auto ZT this morning and it's not a good fit. The back box pipe joining to the main centre pipe is not a good fit and have a slight leak. In addition the two pipes don't even stick out of the bumper cut out. Definitely the correct part numbers. Amazingly it is quiet, just looks stupid and I'm fed up. Waste of time, money and effort. What is the point in reproducing these if the will not fit and look awful? Not like it's rocket science either to fit. Rant over! John |

Had the similar issues with other pattern parts. Like you say, a waste of time and money.

Fitted a Klarius to my diesel tourer, and the only complaint is that it was a bit big on the bore where it joins the front pipe, but it sealed with no problem.

I have fitted a complete klarius system before, fitted perfectly, just needed a little weld to stop the pipes rotating inside one another.
Very pleased with it, lovely and quiet too. |

I bought one and it was a pig to fit. The pipes come out at an angle and are a little short and whatever way i fitted it it would knock on the rear suspension arm. Took it to a tyre fitters and after 10 mins fiddling about the chap heated the pipe near the rear arm and squeezed it with a large pair of pliers so it wouldnt hit it.
Wasnt a bad fit in the end, sounded great too. |

Fitted a rear box to my ZR, good fit but a year later and the baffles are rattling and the chrome tail pipe finish has rusted very badly.

Klarius are a cheap part and for the money not bad. The OEM back box has stainless pipes so always looks good even if the body is rusty. They are double skinned and galvanised so last 10 years plus.
