It's not a £2 coin with the edges filed down, is it?

I got two of the new coins in my change today for the first time, what are they going to do about the old £1 coin slots in the supermarket trolleys!

I should imagine that would cost a bob or two to change all the mechanisms.

Our local Clowncil recently introduced parking charges on the sea front, unfortunately, they ordered machines which only take the old pound coins so they all had to go back for replacements They lost all the Easter revenue

most of the supermarkets have had to remove the locking sections for the interim period whilst both are available and will refit once the new ones are 'officially' the only legal tender (yes I know the old ones still will be but you know what I mean
