Default Finally getting somewhere and feeling better for it. :)

Good morning Yup I'm up at stupid o clock getting the whole house cleaned ready when my parents get back 2moro, they went on a break away for a few days and left me in charge of the house while talking care of my grand mother.

Its been great spending time with her, I remember the time my grand mother used too look after when my parents worked overtime, now its the other way round its me looking after her.

parents will be back 2moro I think I've done a pretty good job organising the house little.

I've redone my army application form again and I got a email back and I've been accepted, but its not over yet.

I need do my medical pretty handy and fill out additional information regarding my qualifications, I'm just glad now I've had a reply back and there is spaces left in the REME and my 2nd choice as well which you all have a pretty good idea what it is.

Big things with massive tracks and blows things up.
It will be great if I can get in now before the end of May.

Good luck with the Army job application Dave, I couldn't think of anything more scary than you let loose in a tank.

Cheers Ian.

Let loose in a challenger 2 while sipping VAT 69 or any drink for that matter.

Hopefully my automotive engineering qualifications and security should help me along.

Just got other email back and doing the medical now.

Dear David,

Thanks for applying to join the Army. The next step is your online medical questionnaire.
It takes a few minutes – please do it within the next 5 days.
You can do it on any device (but not on a Blackberry).
Click here to do your questionnaire
Joining the Army was the best thing I ever did. I’m more qualified, skilled and confident than I thought possible. So don’t delay - complete your online medical now, and we can keep you moving to join the best team in the world.

Good luck, but remember that your first few months will be basic training, and it will push you to the limit, and that is where the services weed out the wheat from the chaff, stick at it, and concentrate on what they teach you, and you will pass out, then the fun begins

I had 23 great years, and enjoyed it, and am still reaping the rewards 15 year after I left

So good luck and keep us up to date if you get the chance

Stu

Thanks mate.

Its going too be tough but I will not give in, in the end of the day instructors are there teach you the skills you need, even if there shouting there heads off I won't take it personal even it will be hard not too, there doing the job building ourselves and mouldings too what they want from us and its something that I do have and I want too give it a shot see what futures lies for me within the army.

I even got too take test as well and this one of them.

Default What the beep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for answering the online Army medical questions.
You told us that you have, or have had, one or more disqualifying medical conditions. This means we can’t take your application further.
The Army has a duty to ensure those seeking employment with prior medical conditions will not be made worse by their military training and service.
You can read the Army’s medical requirements online to understand our decision.
Occasionally candidates accidentally give wrong information and so I’ve put some information below to help you if you wish to appeal.
Thanks for your interest in joining the Army.
With best wishes,
Captain Alex Smith

Ok now I'm really fuming I'm short sited I do have glasses and got this and I can't join and its really cheesed me off now.

Just phoned the help line and they can review it again, I was close too cracking, but kept calm as it does happen a lot on these forms.
