Default Thank you to Jules - hoses arrives today and I have now fitted them.

Thank you to Jules for despatching the replacement intercooler hoses so quickly. The hoses arrived this mornong and I have now fitted them. The new hoses seem to be a better fit than the originals as there seems to be fewer potential rub points on the righthand side of the lower hose section and the construction is far better than the originals.

On that note I will make an observation wrt quality of hoses. 🙄
I ordered some off rimmers last year.
The originals have a braid weaved into the rubber, as per your 1st photo.
Rimmers does not appear to have this braid, just a tubular section of rubber, (sorry, no photo available at the moment).
When i rev the car up, the new "rimmers hose", appears to balloon an awful lot more than original.
Not good imo.

That is because the Rimmer hose as you put it appears to have no structural strength and it is essentially an open ended baloon, soon to burst.!! a waste of
money, is it likely to last the best part of 13 years? is it indeed.!! buy the silicon one from Jules much much better quality and service, will probably outlast the car.

I can highly recommend the hose set from Jules, my ZTT also seems to be running more economically as well.

Another thanks to Jules, plenum Shield filters arrived and fitted this morning, must have taken some work to design, fits perfectly.
