NOT a South Wales meet!
Organised by a friend of mine, and hopefully to be a regular thing! The MG Rover meet is at the Dean Forest Railway, a steam railway in the Forest of Dean, close to Newport and not far from Bristol. There will be a gathering of MR/Rover enthusiasts as well as some military vehicles and of course steam trains!

Are you able to post details of the meet dates, times etc as like myself not all members might have access to facebook. The meet might then moght attract more members to attend. Thanks |

Sure, the location is here:
https://maps.here.com/directions/mix...b_locale=en_GB The postcode is GL15 4ET, and the meet starts at 10 on the 19th of June. If anyone is interested you can book the train tickets, a coffee and cake in advance. Anyone interested I can put them in touch with the organiser. |

A very nice meet!
Those of you that attended todays meet at the Forest of Dean Railway will I think agree that it was a very good day. Although the weather was not perfect (a little bit of rain) the venue, and most importantly the company was perfect. Many thanks to James Rawnsley for organising it, and for ensuring that all ran smoothly. Those that came (20+ cars) enjoyed the train ride, cake and coffee and some had the benefit of an aircon service and some SMART body repairs by traders who were on site. Although this was small by some standards, we hope to expand on this and make this and other meets regular features of the Help Groups calendar.

That looks and sounds amazing. Shame it's 100s of miles away.
