Additional Information:- The car will come with Rover fitted front mats, a Haynes Manual and two Union Alloy Spare Wheels fitted with Snow Tyres. I also have well over £350 of spares and rare publications/brochures, including Taylor's book, all in mint condition, which can go with car, including both New Fuel Pumps.
I have some articles about my car and If you Google " 75 and ZT Companion ", it will take you to a free PDF link of a book I wrote, much of it about my car.

The car has a clear Auto Check Report.

Because I don't do many miles now, I am getting a small runabout, which is due in September. I am also dealing with some issues (not with the car, or healthwise), but it precludes me from tinkering. This is a really good car and needs to go to somebody that is going to use it more, but hopefully, not as a taxi!

*****NOW SOLD *********

I have just updated the above advert to include the new bottom front wishbones and bearings, which I had forgotten to put in the ad. I have also included the extra spares and publications within the price, because I don't want the hassle of selling them off separately.

Thank you Jules. The pictures do add some detail to my description; as they say, 'a picture is worth a thousand words'!

How much are you asking? I'm planning to sell mine soon, but struggling for the right price.

This is a very valid question, which has caused some debate and concern on here in the past. Basically, it is worth what somebody is prepared to pay, but that isn't very helpful. There is also the difference between cost and value; famously leveled at one of our politicians as "they know the cost of everything and the value of nothing".

There are the Trade & Retail Guides that put my car at £800 Trade value. The Trader is prepared to move it on at Auction without loss and would probably expect a profit. If it is listed at £800 Trade, without the statisticians knowing anything about the car other than mileage and the excellent condition, they would expect a Trader to retail the car for at least £2,000, which would give them a profit margin sufficient to cover any warranty.

I have only put my car on this forum, but I will try a notice in the car window, which I have often found works best of all, after all, if somebody likes the look of the car and rings you up, they are pretty interested. I often see people looking at my car when it is parked up, so we will just have to see.

Colin you are a fortunate position in that you are not in a hurry to sell so don't sell it cheap.

I stress again it's not the usual run of the mill 75.
I see day to day many 75's in our workshops which are well past their best!!

Yes there are lots of 75's around similar to yours for sale at less than half the price but most need a 4 figure sum spending on them to get them mechanically up to scratch........ then another 4 figure sum to get the paintwork up the standard of yours.

Unrestored orginal examples with provenance will always be the most desirable choice IMHO.

One other thing crossed my mind and that is my location in the West Midlands. If it helps, I will be going down to Cornwall in early August (Truro/Falmouth area), so, if anybody in the West Country fancies a viewing, I will be going via the M5 and then the A30 from Exeter; just a thought.

Roverite.
Just a quick update. We have cancelled our trip to Cornwall in August, so the mileage will probably be down to around 75,000 miles and I can let the car go at any time and not now have to wait until August as previosly stated.
