Default SILVER CONNIE TOURER - 03 Reg - **WITHDRAWN**

I have recently been offered an 04 Tourer with very low mileage. Trouble is I already have two! So is anybody here interested in a little project.

It’s an 03 plate with 188K on the clock and in my opinion its decent enough overall to warrant a bit of TLC and put back into daily use. I dont have time to do it myself at the moment and I can’t have a third.

Good points: New clutch and stainless steel decat exhaust at around 140K.
4 recon injectors fitted at 152K.
New alternator fitted at 159K.
New in tank and under bonnet fuel pumps fitted at around 165K.
New lower suspension arms and bushes fitted last year at around 184K.
Has a tuning box fitted so it feels like a CDTi.
Four nearly new tyres.

Bad Points: Sits quite low at back end so assume either the rear springs are weak or the shockers need replacing.
Lower engine mount needs replacing.
Heated seats have never worked in my ownership, probably an easy fix but I never bothered enough to check it out.
Drivers door locking solenoid faulty (Locks / unlocks on key only)
Bubbling paint on the black strips between the windows, in the rear offside door arch and on the front N/S door.
Crease in the front N/S wing where a gate fell on it. (See pics)
Small crease in the chrome strip and a little cracking on the rear bumper. Light scratch from N/S front to back which will no doubt T Cut out.
Usual age related scuffs.
Fan doesn’t run but temp gauge never goes above centre.
I think I didn’t get the in tank pump float in the right place when I fitted it, so it takes a while for the fuel gauge to read full. It goes down normally though.
Has been garaged since 1st November last year and silly me left the handbrake on - it now seems to be partially stuck on.

I honestly can’t see it needing more than some attention to the brakes to get it through an MOT, so I’m asking for £650.

I have more photos, if anyones interested. Just PM me and I will e-mail them.

Stick it on Autotrader for £750 bud. Then let someone bargain you Down. That's what I did when mine didn't sell on here. Sold it in three days.

The OP has decided to do up the car, so the sale offer is now withdrawn
